First Snow at the Inn, Concord, MA

A Day in a Concord Life
The Colonial Inn, a cornerstone of Historic Concord Center is in transition. Pumpkins and wreaths are side by side and the weather itself is rushing us toward Christmas, never mind Thanksgiving. This first snow, however fleeting, is always good fun. The children can’t wait for a recess break from school and the adults have a chance to enjoy the magical quality before they remember the more laborious aspects of snowfall that involve a shovel or rock solid windshields.

So here we are in Concord about to enter our “Currier & Ives” period, where the Center resembles or perhaps is the inspiration for the miniature Main Streets Americans place upon their mantles in the coming weeks.
