Holy Family Parish, Concord Center
Nov 28th, 2007 by Lisa

When I enter Concord Center each morning from Lowell Road I pass Holy Family Parish to my left. A double take was in order yesterday morning when the sky was so luminous and the contrast of dark clouds and brilliant sun so striking, that an otherworldly glow cast upon the Church seemed fitting. It was enticing enough anyway to stop my car and capture the moment before continuing on.
The Church has a prominent location next to the Old Hill Burying Ground and directly opposite Main Street. If one stands at the Concord Free Public Library there is a beautiful unobstructed view directly toward the burial ground and adjacent historic structures. The Church itself was erected in 1842.
