Concord Walking Tour: “Revolution, Renaissance and Renewal” – 2:00pm – 4:00pm – weekends only – Licensed, local guides conduct a two-hour walk through Concord Center Village and out to the North Bridge. Michelle Lavallee Berti: Paintings of Nature’s Light - An Exhibit of Plein Air Landscapes in 2008 - Opening reception: July 1, 5-8pm. Free admission. (978) 369-2578

Picnic in the Park – Emerson Field – 11:30am – 4:30pm - Children;s Bicycle and Doll Carriage Parade (meet at the Armory at 11:15am to particiapte) – Fun and Food all Day –

Paddling Back in Time - 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM - Join us for a guided trip down the Concord River to the Old Manse, and experience the landscape that inspired Emerson, Thoreau, and Hawthorne. Colonial Tunes with the Hartwell Players - 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Saturday, July 19, 2008 Verrill Farm presents:

Orchard House Presents: “The Apple Slump Players” Drama Workshop
Youngsters aged 8 - 12 are invited to participate in this unique experience at Orchard House. After brief daily theatrical warm-ups, participants will play theater games, experiment with mime and improvisation, and act out scenes from Louisa May Alcott’s stories. Then, just as Louisa (Author of Little Women) and her sisters did, a skit will be rehearsed during the week and performed at week’s end. Dress comfortably; imagination and a sense of fun are required! Cost: $220 (Members - 10% off). Space is limited; reservations & pre-payment required. “Welcome to Our Home” A Living History Tour.
