Our apple tree is in full bloom once again, this time with a blanket of snow. We are starting to yearn for spring around here. The snow fall has been heavy and often, the saving grace is that it’s been complimented much of the time by gleaming rays of sun. I do however, long to see the budding flowers on our apple tree that precede the apples themselves. They are small and delicate and they too blanket the tree in a cloak of white, but it’s accompanied by a fragrance and vibrancy that sets it apart from its present condition. So, while I can appreciate the white artistry that covers its limbs today, I’ll take stock in the fact that it is now weeks, not months, until the next glorious phase.
